    紫外吸收光譜用于TOC的檢測(cè)分析最早可追溯到1972年,Dobbs等人對(duì)于254nm處紫外吸光度值(A)和城市污水處理二級(jí)出水及河水的TOC之間線性關(guān)系進(jìn)行了研究。經(jīng)過(guò)幾十年的發(fā)展,由于具有快速、不接觸測(cè)量、重復(fù)性好、維護(hù)量少等優(yōu)點(diǎn),該方法的應(yīng)用得到飛速發(fā)展。

水樣分別被注入高溫燃燒管(900℃)和低溫反應(yīng)管(150℃)中。經(jīng)高溫燃燒管的水樣受高溫催化氧化,使有機(jī)化合物和無(wú)機(jī)碳酸鹽均轉(zhuǎn)化成為二氧化碳。經(jīng)反應(yīng)管的水樣受酸化而使無(wú)機(jī)碳酸鹽分解成為二氧化碳,其所生成的二氧化碳依次導(dǎo)入非分散紅外檢測(cè)器,從而分別測(cè)得水中的總碳(TC)和無(wú)機(jī)碳(IC)。總碳與無(wú)機(jī)碳之差值,即為總有機(jī)碳(TOC)。

 

Offline detection

During off-line detection, the instrument can directly sample from the sample bottle or other containers without pressure. Instrument pipeline flushing and instrument calibration shall be operated offline. If there are insoluble particles in the sample, it shall pass through the filter membrane (pore size 60 μ M U.M or less) to prevent particles in the sample from blocking the instrument. The sampling tube of the instrument is a 1 / 16 inch Teflon tube, and the flow rate of water sample pumped into the pipeline by the peristaltic pump is about 0.5 ml / min.

Environmental requirements

The instrument shall be operated in a constant temperature and humidity environment suitable for operation. Avoid direct sunlight and abnormal temperature; Too high temperature (over 104 ? F, 40 ? C) will lead to abnormal operation, and too low temperature (below 50 ? F, 10 ? C) will lead to excessive measurement error.

 

電阻法

 

該法是近年來(lái)開始應(yīng)用的技術(shù),其原理是在溫度補(bǔ)償前提下,測(cè)量樣品在紫外線氧化前后電阻率的差值來(lái)實(shí)現(xiàn)的。但該方法對(duì)被測(cè)量的水體來(lái)源要求比較苛刻,只能用相對(duì)潔凈的工業(yè)用水和純水,應(yīng)用方向單一。

 

Carbon dioxide sensor

Two carbon dioxide sensors are installed on the instrument, which are composed of conductivity sensor and temperature sensor. The conductivity measurement adopts double precision technology, which can realize automatic calibration and temperature compensation. The tic sensor is used to detect the concentration of carbon dioxide in the non oxidized water sample and detect the conductivity value of the water sample; TC sensor is used to detect the sum of the carbon dioxide contained in the water sample itself and the carbon dioxide concentration generated by the decomposition of organic matter in the water sample.

 

使用與操作方法

開始檢測(cè)并計(jì)入檢測(cè)次數(shù),檢測(cè)完畢后顯示最后一次檢測(cè)結(jié)果,其中幾次檢測(cè)的結(jié)果均自動(dòng)保存在查詢記錄當(dāng)中。檢測(cè)次數(shù)的設(shè)置方式為:用“選擇”鍵移動(dòng)光標(biāo),用“設(shè)置”鍵修改數(shù)字,按“確定”鍵進(jìn)行確認(rèn),進(jìn)入分析界面。先進(jìn)行四次沖洗過(guò)程

 

Analysis steps of TOC in water samples

1. Reagent preparation

(1) Potassium hydrogen phthalate (khc8h4o4): Reference Reagent

(2) Anhydrous sodium carbonate: Reference Reagent

(3) Sodium bicarbonate: Reference Reagent

(4) Carbon dioxide free distilled water

2. Preparation of standard stock solution

(1) Organic carbon standard stock solution: weigh an appropriate amount of khc8h4o4 after drying and dilute it with water. Generally, the concentration of stock solution is 400mg / L carbon.

(2) Inorganic carbon standard stock solution: weigh appropriate proportion of sodium carbonate and sodium bicarbonate after drying, dilute with water, and generally the concentration of the stock solution is 400mg / L inorganic carbon.

3. Preparation of organic carbon and inorganic carbon standard solutions

Diluted from the respective stock solutions as required.

4. Drawing of calibration curve

Dilute the standard solution step by step into organic carbon and inorganic carbon standard solutions with different concentrations, inject them into the combustion tube and reaction tube respectively, measure the absorption peak height on the recorder, plot the corresponding concentration and draw the calibration curve.

 

二氧化碳測(cè)量循環(huán)

儀器每4分鐘檢測(cè)得出一個(gè)數(shù)據(jù)(包括TOC值和電導(dǎo)率值),在4分鐘的測(cè)量循環(huán)中TC和TIC是獨(dú)立檢測(cè)的。

 

5. Water sample determination

Take a proper amount of water sample and inject it into TOC instrument for determination. The peak height obtained can read the corresponding concentration from the standard curve, or the instrument can automatically calculate the result.

 

在線檢測(cè)裝置

進(jìn)入儀器內(nèi)部后水樣的流速大約為0.5 ml/min。進(jìn)入在線檢測(cè)裝置的水樣溫度可以在1~95℃范圍內(nèi),儀器的廢液和在線檢測(cè)裝置的排出液均由排液管排出。

 

6. Calculation

Subtraction method: total organic carbon (mg / L) = total carbon - inorganic carbon

Direct method: total organic carbon (mg / L) = total carbon

折疊電導(dǎo)率檢測(cè)法

  TOC電導(dǎo)率檢測(cè)技術(shù)能夠測(cè)量液態(tài)的CO2。業(yè)界采用的主要有兩種電導(dǎo)率檢測(cè)技術(shù):一種是直接電導(dǎo)率法,另外一種是薄膜電導(dǎo)率檢測(cè)法(又稱選擇性電導(dǎo)率法)。采用兩種電導(dǎo)率法的TOC分析儀校驗(yàn)結(jié)果都很穩(wěn)定,檢測(cè)精度高。這兩種技術(shù)最主要的區(qū)別在于,直接電導(dǎo)率法比較容易受雜酸性,鹵化有機(jī)物等的干擾;而薄膜電導(dǎo)率檢測(cè)技術(shù)抗干擾性更佳。

  薄膜電導(dǎo)率檢測(cè)法是GE TOC分析儀使用較多的檢測(cè)方法,TOC分析儀使用的膜能防止雜離子的通過(guò),確保檢測(cè)的只是CO2的含量,從而使TOC的讀數(shù)更為精確。
